Below you can find this year's audition excerpts for each instrument as well as various backing tracks to practice and play along with.  Each etude has 3 recordings: a full track, a track without horns, and a track without drums.

These etudes can be played together with a full jazz band.

Directors are encouraged to work on the etudes with their ensembles.

Students that do not have a full class may also play along with the etude backing tracks below.
